As a four-time cancer survivor, I have learned much in the crucible of suffering. Part of the fruit of my suffering is that I now delight in encouraging others going through hard times. And that is what this website is all about!
As you can see on the landing page, there are six doors with various words on them. If you click on a door, you will find a short reading or a link to another resource . . . all of which is to encourage you, to bring you hope or to be something thought provoking for your journey. May you be blessed by the things you discover when you click on each door!

My name is Tamara, but I go by “T”; a name much easier to pronounce and much easier to remember! In a nutshell, I am a former party girl, a wife to Pete and a mom to Zach and daughter-in-law Gisela. I am the author of Abiding Hope and an occasional speaker. My hobbies include reading, walking, creative endeavors and archery. I also enjoy spending time with family or friends on or near one of our 10,000 Minnesota lakes. And last, but not least, I am a four-time cancer survivor (1991- stage four ovarian, 1995- a tumor around my sciatic nerve, 1998- colon and 2001- breast). I am forever grateful for God’s healing touch and have learned that life is hard, but God is good!
